Polanka Review
Home So Polish Food, what can one say, hearty a bit stodgy but unlike Indian or Chinese not an acquired taste.  The Polanka had been there a while when the better half and I decided to venture in for the first time.  I was fairly familiar with Central European food, she was not.

The premises is nicely put together, spotlessly clean with good access here's a picture

Your hosts could not be more inviting, taking the time to explain the menu in detail and also the excellent range of Beers available, my favourite being Zubr.

Whilst the menu is not huge, what they do they do very very well.  It is authentic Polish food, that you would find in local neighbourhood places up and across Poland and in fact the Czech Republic.

This is perhaps not a place to go for a special occasion but for the price of your average Indian Takeaway, you can sit and eat food that will be palatable to anyone.

Something not to be missed is the Homemade cakes and cheesecakes which are fantastic.

Otherwis give the place a try, you can be out for £20 for two people, what is there to lose, but as we found a lot to gain!  They have a website www.polanka.co.uk
