He then witnessed a Mr Luke Garrod punch the side window of a van belonging to another neighbour and break it.

He hurried downstairs and met the neighbour on the Street, they both followed the perpetrator in their vehicles guiding the police by mobile phone

Mr LUKE GARROD was arrested and statements were taken from both neighbours.

On the 8th of June LUKE GARROD pleaded guilty to Criminal Damage to Property at Southend Magistrates Court

He was fined £150

And compensation of £125 was awarded
