Graffiti is a problem which if left unchecked can grow to epidemic proportions.  Locally we have problems in the underpass and on occasions on our own properties.  It is a crime which goes beyond the simple unsightly damage.  It often acts as conduit to other anti social crimes and theft by giving the impression that an area is uncared for.  Below is a link which takes you to the reporting site for Graffiti, there is also the leaflet for Graffiti watch provided by Southend NW. 

We have kits to clean Graffiti and Glyn is keeping the subway clear of Graffiti since it was painted in Anti-Graffiti paint by C2C more here on that.   This however has not been helped by Network Rail coming along and painting over the anti graffiti paint with normal paint.  We are addressing that with them, however, on the whole we have found them to be unhelpful and obstructive in our work, but we shall see.  They are a complete contrast to the community minded and proactive C2C which is a problem!
