KARA – Set-up and Elections
KARA, the Kilworth Area Residents’ Association, has been in existence for some time, it is now setup on a formal basis. This will mean that we can use KARA as a focus for obtaining funding for more improvements in the area. The NHW will continue to run in parallel to KARA, and all NHW members will be automatically enrolled in KARA. Please advise Marina, Glyn or via the e-mail if you do not wish to become a KARA member.
We still plan to keep it free for members if possible, but this may change in the long term future depending on how successful we are in raising funding. The constitution is available here and a copy is available from Glyn or Marina if you’d like to see it. Grateful for any comment you may have.

Strength in Numbers
NHW members have made good progress in improving the area over the last year or so. We need strength in numbers if we are to make more progress, and to obtain the funding that we need for further improvements. Other Residents’ Associations in Southend have managed to make big changes through better organisation and the commitment of residents, so we can too. Please join in, make your voice heard and offer your help if you can.
